Red Bluff police arrested 37-year-old Jessie Lee Robison Wednesday morning in connection with the fatal stabbing of Joshua Verry.

Officers were called to a reported stabbing at an apartment at 65 Mina Ave. around 10:40 p.m. Monday. The victim, Joshua Verry, 27, was stabbed several times in the chest and back.  He was pronounced dead at the hospital.

According to a news release from Red Bluff Police, Verry and another man were involved in a fight.  During the fight, the suspect stabbed Verry several times. Police identified the suspect as Robison who they were unable to locate until today.

Around 9:30 a.m. Wednesday morning officers responded to 130 Gilmore Road in response to an anonymous tip that Robison was staying at a trailer on the premise. Police surrounded the trailer and Robison was taken into custody without incident.

After being interviewed by investigators Robison was arrested for homicide and booked in to the Tehama County jail.
