KRCR-TV in Northern California has an immediate opening for a strong, high-energy journalist. We are looking for someone to join our team as the producer and anchor of our weekend newscasts, and report as a one-man-band during the week.

The ideal candidate will be a smart individual with a passion for local news, strong writing skills, solid editorial judgment, and the ability to communicate effectively in both the newsroom and out in the field. Our news team plays an important role not only in reporting for KRCR News Channel 7, but for KRCRTV.com as well.

Experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right individual. Qualified candidates will have a journalism or broadcasting-related degree, or work-experience equivalent. Preference will be given to candidates with professional newsroom experience.
