DETROIT -

Audi wants to provide more SUV size options, which is why the company will feature its new, smaller Q3 at the Detroit Auto Show this year.

"We are now for the first time entering into the premium compact class of SUVs with the introduction of the Audi Q3 into our lineup," said Scott Keogh, Audi of America president.

The SUV will come with several high-end features, like a panoramic sunroof, leather seating, and lots of LED lighting, including in the cup holders.

Power comes from a 200 horsepower 2-liter engine driving  the front wheels or all four wheels.

The new car will join the larger Q5 and Q7 Audi SUVs at dealerships this fall.
