Nazy is thrilled to join the North Coast News team! She comes to us from Los Angeles with over a decade of experience in broadcast journalism, media and law. She earned her BA from UC Davis in 2004, where she majored in pre-law political science and media communications with minors in theatre and dance. Nazy was a collegiate news reporter for both DCTV community programming and the student news station, AGTV. Nazy then went on to intern at the White House, where she worked as a junior reporter for Tribune Broadcasting’s Washington, D.C. bureau.
After college, Nazy landed a broadcast job in the San Francisco Bay Area. She was hired as the host of the show, "Dining Out with Nazy" for KFTY News Channel 10. She then went on to work for Clear Channel Television as a general assignment reporter and fill-in anchor for The Bay Area's TV50, where she covered news, weather and traffic during the Armstrong & Getty KGO morning show and evening headline news. Nazy also produced and hosted two half-hour Bay Area programs called "TV50 Marketplace" and "Your Turn."
Nazy now joins us as a reporter/anchor, and she is excited to explore the gorgeous North Coast and meet members of the amazing surrounding communities. If you see her online or in person, please reach out to say hi - she can’t wait to meet you! In her spare time, Nazy studies law and teaches Zumba Fitness. She reports live on air during the 6/10/11 p.m. newscasts on KAEF ABC 23 and KBVU FOX 28.
