Taylor Torregano

Taylor is excited to live in such a beautiful part of Northern California. She comes from Los Angeles where she was born and raised, but went to college in the Bay Area.

In high school, Taylor was honored to spread awareness through her writing for a sex trafficking organization in downtown Los Angeles. This inspired her to pursue a career that would help the greater good of the community.

She studied broadcast journalism at San Jose State University, where she fell in love with telling people's stories. While at SJSU, she interned at NBC Bay Area. There, she worked closely with the award-winning investigative unit and news team learning valuable journalistic qualities for over a year.

After graduating, Taylor moved home and began working as a news assistant and assignment editor for ABC7 Eyewitness News in Glendale. The fast pace of the newsroom gave her an adrenaline rush and she couldn't wait to get on the field to start reporting.

Her goal is to be the voice of the people in Humboldt County and will work tirelessly to produce compelling and factual stories.

When not at work, Taylor enjoys exercising, seeing friends and catching up on her favorite television shows. She also loves nature and spends a lot of time outside.

She's constantly striving to learn new things and loves to meet new people, so feel free to say hello if you see her at the grocery store.
