Man Intentionally Run Over With Car

On Saturday afternoon, a Redding man was rushed to Mercy Medical Center in critical condition after someone intentionally hit them with a car near Lake Boulevard area.

According to the Redding Police department, it was reported that Brian Klatt, 45 years old of Redding, had been slashing tires in the Lake Boulevard area. RPD says that Klatt was able to elude police.

Redding Police say that Klatt then provoked a fight among several men on the 1000 block of Deodar Way, who described him as being under the influence of drugs.

During the fight, RPD says that Curtis Cameron, 54 years old of Redding, ran over Klatt intentionally with his vehicle.

Klatt was taken to the hospital and Cameron was booked into Shasta County Jail for assault with a deadly weapon.
