Highway 273 is now open after it was shut down Monday morning because of a gas leak.

Officials say PG&E was doing some line work in the area when they struck the pipe near the intersection of Highway 273 and Alexander Avenue/3rd Street.

Traffic on southbound Highway 273 was diverted while crews worked on shutting down the line. The gas leaked has stopped and crews will work on replacing the broken line.

Wolf's Cabinets was evacuated as a precaution, but they have been let back into their business.

Traffic is back to normal on Highway 273.
