Cars Crash Head On In Redding

POSTED: 5:08 pm PDT July 26, 2010
Two cars were involved in a head-on crash in Redding on Monday afternoon.

The eastbound lanes of Knighton Road are closed because the cars are still blocking traffic. Our crew on scene says traffic is being moved around the crash.

Three people in an older model Nissan Altima were taken to Mercy Medical Center Redding with moderate to major injuries. The driver of an older Ford F250 was standing on the side of the road and had minor, if any, injuries.

Officials do not yet know what caused the head-on crash. CHP officers are on scene investigating the collision.
