Haven Humane’s Food for Paws Program is in desperate need of donations. For the past two years, the animal shelter has handed out dog and cat food to struggling pet owners. The program is designed to keep animals in their homes and out of the shelter. But, the food supply is running low. Dr. Ray John, CEO of Haven Humane, is asking everyone who can afford it to buy an extra bag of food at the grocery store and drop it off at the shelter.

“Animals need dog and cat food. We are responsible for them. It’s helping seniors, everyday Joes, who can’t afford dog and cat food,” John said.

Donations are collected at Haven Humane on East Side Road.
