Donations Sought For Cottonwood Fire Victims
POSTED: 6:08 pm PDT September 3, 2010UPDATED: 6:11 pm PDT September 3, 2010Cottonwood, Calif. -- Friends and family of the family who lost their home in a fire on Wednesday are looking for donations to help out.The Munk-Ottinger family lost everything they owned during the fire, which started at the home next door.Donations of clothing, toiletries, housewares and furniture are welcomed, as well as gift cards that can be given to the family. Donations are being accepted at two places in Shasta County. Dill's Deli on Catepillar road in Redding and Cottonwood Home Health on Gas Point Road in Cottonwood.A Barbeque fundraiser is also in the planning stages, but no date has been set yet.
