80-year-old house burns to the ground

RED BLUFF, Calif. - Red Bluff firefighters had a busy morning battling a structure fire. The fire broke out around 7:00 a.m. in the 300 block of Main Street.

Red Bluff firefighters said the home that caught fire was more than 80 years old. When Firefighters got there, the majority of the structure was engulfed in flames.

Ronald Rosas was inside the home when the fire broke out but was able to escape.

The home was a total loss since the property owner had no insurance on the property.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
