Aaron Rodgers' Record Label Shoots Music Video In Paradise
Chico's Aaron Rodgers has found a way to stay busy during the NFL labor dispute..
The Packers quarterback is working on his record label called Suspended Sunrise Recordings.
He's working with a band called The Make that has roots in Chico. They shot their first-ever video Sunday at a bowling alley in Paradise.
Band member Jeff Schneeweis said "We needed a bowling alley for the shoot, we contemplated going to L.A., but we live in Chico. There happened to be a bowling alley up in Paradise that was perfect for the job."
Rodgers will appear in the video, and talked about his interest in the music business.
"This is the first step in the process," said Rodgers. "My business partner and I have been working for a couple of years trying to put this whole thing together. We're excited about starting the process, to see what happens with this band. Obviously football is my first priority, music is my passion after that."
Sarah Blakely of Hype Dance Studio is choreographing the video. She said the video will feature local dancers, along with professionals from outside the area.
"We have dancers that just got off the Usher tour," said Blakely. "We have one dancer that just got off Justin Bieber tour. We have another guy who was hired by Michael Jackson to be on the 'This Is It' tour." All the dancers are working and are very professional."
The name of the song is "Get It" if you want to check it out on youtube. The bass player for the rock band Sugar Ray is directing the video.
