Alleged drug house busted after neighbors' complaints

REDDING, Calif. - An alleged drug house was busted in Redding on Friday night.

The Redding Police Department served a search warrant at 3563 Dune Street, at a house believed by police to be used for selling heroin.

Police served a search warrant at the house and arrested Andrew Aristo, 20, and Desiree Moncrief, 19. A search of the house turned up evidence consistent with drug use and sales, investigators said.

Officers learned of this suspicious, illegal activity from neighbors who had complained to authorities. For several weeks, police say that officers kept watch on the house and made numerous arrests for activity tied to this house.

Aristo and Moncrief were booked into the Shasta County Jail on several drug-related charges, as well as charges of possession of an unlawful weapon and possession of a stun gun.
