Butte County Sheriff seeks help in finding missing teen

The Butte County Sheriff's Office is asking for assistance in finding an at risk missing teen who was reported missing in April.

Monica Aldrich, 16, was reported missing by her father after she ran away from her Chico home earlier this year. Her family said she has not contacted them since the beginning of July.

Officials said Monica may be in the Red Bluff, Redding or Los Angeles area with an unknown-age man.

The Butte County Sheriff's Office believes the teen may be at risk due to recent information they are not releasing due to an ongoing investigation.

Anyone with information should call the Butte County Sheriff's Office at 530-538-7321
