REDDING, Calif. - There's some big changes at Turtle Bay Exploration Park. May 1 till September 1 the museum is extending their hours, and they've updated their admission prices.
The park will be open 7 days a week until 5 p.m. and they'll extend their museum hours till 8 p.m. the first Friday of the month until September.
They have also eliminated all their up-front charges in favor of a single admission price. $16 for adults and $12 for seniors and children. Park visitors will also be able to visit the parrot playhouse.
The museum said all these changes are due to the many requests they have received from visitors.
"The real goal is to let everybody experience everything, "said Turtle Bay's Marketing and Sales Officer, Toby Osborn. "Furthermore, to try to really broaden our reach by offering some discount days that will allow more people come into the park."
