Chico residents asked not to use woodstoves & fireplaces

CHICO, Calif. - The Butte County Air Quality Management District is requesting residents of Chico to voluntarily refrain from using their woodstoves and fireplaces starting at 12:01 a.m. on Wednesday to the following midnight.

The voluntary curtailment has been prompted by an air quality forecast of Unhealthy for Sensitive Groups for the Chico area.
