City Of Chico Employee Quits

CHICO, Calif. - For the second time this year, a long time Chico City employee has thrown in the towel.

Fritz Mckinley, Chico's Development Service Director, served his last day on February 25 according to City Manager Brian Nakamura.

Nakamura said Mckinley left for personal reasons, and not part of the new reconstruction plan the city is trying to push through the council.  He says the new reconstruction plan would reduce the number of department heads from 10 to five.

There is no set date on when Mckinley will be replaced.
