Clerk Stabbed During Tower Mart Robbery

New Details In The Stabbing of a Clerk at Tower Mart in Chico

CHICO, Calif. - Chico Police are looking for two men who robbed a gas station and stabbed the clerk.

It happened Saturday night around 10:30 p.m. at the Tower Mart on East Lassen Avenue in Chico.

During the robbery the two suspects came in wearing masks, pulled a gun and took off with the cash drawer. 

They stabbed the clerk before driving off.  The clerk was taken to Enloe Medical Center and is expected to survive.

Sunday morning, police recovered the suspects' vehicle.  Officers are processing the vehicle and other evidence that was recovered.

"It was a reported stolen vehicle likely by the suspects then the car was abandoned the next day or some time after the incident," says Chico Police Lieutenant Mike O'Brien.

Chico Police is asking anyone with additional information to call them.
