Deputies detail how they nabbed father wanted for murder

REDDING, Calif. - On Tuesday the Shasta County Sheriff's Office released more details about how a father wanted for murder was caught.

Bradley Weber was arrested in Crescent City on Sunday after a citizen reported that him and his girlfriend, Pamela Glasgow were at a hotel in the area.

Weber was wanted for the murder of his son BJ Weber on Nov. 2 in Igo.

Weber has been on the run ever since.

On Tuesday Weber was discharged from the hospital after being admitted for excessive blood alcohol content.

Shasta County Sheriff's Sgt. Eric Magrini said earlier this week investigators got a tip Weber knew someone in Crescent City and could be in the area.

Magrini said deputies canvassed the area and showed Weber's picture to several hotel workers.

On Sunday a worker reported Weber had checked in.

The Crescent City Police Department, Del Norte County Sheriff's Office, SWAT team, and members of the US Marshal's Office surrounded the hotel; Glasgow and Weber surrendered.

Magrini said having Weber in custody helps his office which is already stretched thin.

"We can focus the resources we were allocating for this investigation on other investigations. We can focus those or redirect those to the other homicide cases we're working on."

Deputies hope to have Weber back to Shasta County by the end of the week.

He is charged with the murder of his son.

Glasgow is charged with concealing a person who committed a felony.
