Rosie O'Donnell's family has grown by one more bundle of joy: The media personality and her wife Michelle Rounds have welcomed a baby girl.

O'Donnell shared the happy news on Twitter Wednesday along with a photo of herself with Rounds and their swaddled newborn daughter.

"[W]e r thrilled to announce the arrival of r daughter Dakota -- #withloveandthanks -- AMEN," O'Donnell, 50, tweeted.

O'Donnell's rep tells CNN that little Dakota was born on January 5 weighing in at five pounds, five ounces.

"Moms and baby are happy and healthy," the rep says, who confirms that Dakota was adopted.

The couple quietly tied the knot in June of last year, exchanging vows in private before Rounds underwent surgery for desmoid tumors.

O'Donnell then suffered a heart attack that August, and told People magazineafterward that she was going to focus on recovery.

"I will gladly stay home," O'Donnell said. "I want to try to work hard at getting myself healthy, on Mich and I getting started and maybe finding a baby."

Dakota's the fifth child for O'Donnell, who has four kids with her ex, Kelli Carpenter.
