RED BLUFF, Calif. - An upcoming dinner theater production in Red Bluff is looking for actors. Auditions are at 6 p.m. Feb. 8 and 9 at the Red Bluff Hampton Inn.
PRESS RELEASE BELOW:
Actors and actresses are needed for an upcoming dinner theater production in Red Bluff. All performers will be paid for their participation.
No previous acting experience is required for this northstate premiere of a popular comedy about dating and relationships.
Men in their late 20s to early 50s, and women in their 20s to 40, are needed to act in the production, and various others are needed to assist backstage. Auditions will consist of simple readings from the script and will take place starting at 6 p.m. Friday, February 8 and Saturday, February 9 in the RoundUp Room, off the lobby of the Hampton Inn, 520 Adobe Road in Red Bluff. It is not necessary to attend both evenings, and readings will take approximately half an hour to an hour.
The ACME Dinner Theater is a performance troupe dedicated to bringing light and hilarious dinner theater to Red Bluff and surrounding areas on a regular basis, according to production stage manager Mace Archer.
"We want folks to have a place to have a great meal and enjoy entertaining comedies," said Archer. "It's not a situation where audiences will ever be expected to participate in the performances. All they need to do is relax, eat their fill and let the laughs take them away from the daily grind."
The Hampton Inn is located at 520 Adobe Road in Red Bluff. Auditions will take place in the RoundUp Room, just off the lobby.
If attending neither of the auditions is possible, auditioners may make other arrangements, or get more information, by calling 727-8080.
