Four shots fired from car in Chico

CHICO, Calif. - Chico Police are looking for two suspects seen leaving the scene where shots were fired Monday night.

The incident was reported at 9:41 p.m. Monday at Walnut Grove Apartments at  1118 Nord Avenue.  A witness reported four shots fired from a vehicle driving through the parking lot of the apartment complex.

The witness said the vehicle involved was a silver Pontiac sedan from the late 90's or early 2000's with tinted windows.

The vehicle was last seen traveling westbound through the parking lot then southbound on Nord Avenue.   There may have been two people in the vehicle.

Officers found four spent shell casings from a .38 caliber handgun in the parking lot.  Officers did not find any buildings or vehicles that had been struck by the bullets.
