CHICO, Calif. - Three new human West Nile Virus cases have been reported in Butte County.
One of the victims was hospitalized in serious condition with a brain infection.
The victims live in Chico and South Butte County.
All these new cases involve patients who are 55 years old or older.
Butte County now has a total of four human cases this year.
