CITY OF SHASTA LAKE, Calif. - A man has been taken to the hospital with major injuries after what witnesses describe as a malicious hit and run crash.
It happened just before 4 p.m. Friday on Meade Street in the City of Shasta Lake.
Shasta County sheriff's deputies say a man was injured during a domestic violence dispute, then ran over with a pickup truck.
A witness at the scene says it looked like the person driving the truck did it on purpose.
Shasta Dam Boulevard was closed from Hardenbrook Avenue to Cabello Street for several hours while investigators were on the scene.
The man had major injuries.
