A new interview is raising speculation that Pope Francis is sneaking out of the Vatican at night to give money to the homeless.
In the interview, Polish Archbishop Konrad Krajewski said there's a "constant risk" that the Pope will join him during his evening visits to minister to Rome's poor.
He merely smiled and ducked the question when reporters asked him whether Pope Francis has accompanied him.
"Next question, please," Krajewski said, according to uCatholic.
A knowledgable source in Rome told The Huffington Post that "Swiss guards confirmed that the pope has ventured out at night, dressed as a regular priest, to meet with homeless men and women."
As Cardinal Jorge Bergoglio in Argentina, Pope Francis was known to sneak out at night to break bread with the homeless, eating on the street with them, according The Huffington Post.
