13-year-old Girl Robbed During Drug Deal

A Red Bluff man was arrested for robbing a 13-year-old girl who tried to buy drugs from him.

Anthony McKinnie, 25, was arrested at Red Bluff City Park Tuesday afternoon. Police said the 13-year-old girl met McKinnie and a woman on Monday to buy marijuana.  The suspects tried to sell the girl methamphetamine instead.

When she refused to buy the meth they reportedly attacked her and took her money.

Tuesday the victim and her father spotted McKinnie at the park and called police.

Charges are pending against the female suspect, whose name was not released.

Red Bluff Police said they do not plan to press charges against the 13 year-old for attempting to buy the marijuana.
