The Green Pay Packers and San Francisco 49ers game Saturday is causing quite a divide in the Northstate, but it's more than just team allegiances that connect these teams to the area.

We put together a few fun facts about the players linking the Northstate to the big game.

49ers Defensive End Jeff Stover of Chico wore uniform #72.

He was also on the 49ers team that won Super Bowl XIX.

KRCR News Channel 7's Mike Mangas has said it is one of his favorite memories.

Former 49ers trainer Ray Tufts went to Anderson High School and Shasta College.

He eventually left the team to become the head trainer of the San Jose Sharks hockey team.

49ers team photographer Michael Zagaris is an Enterprise High Graduate.

He's been there for many years, and has published several books.

Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers was only 5'2" as a freshman at Pleasant Valley High in Chico.

That's according to his high school football coach, Travis Souza.

He told us Rodgers was always a natural born leader.
