$5,000 of Jewelry Taken in Burglary

REDDING, Calif. -

Deputies are investigating a jewelry theft in Tehama County.

Investigators said the suspect broke into a home on Parkway Drive in Bend sometime between 8:00 a.m. Sunday morning and 8:30 a.m. Tuesday morning.

The victim, Rosemary Williams, told deputies the home was locked, but no sign of forced entry was found.

Williams said the burglar took gold and diamond rings and earrings worth about $5,000.
