ANDERSON, Calif. -

The Anderson Police Dept. is about to start hash-tagging and getting likes. They just started a Facebook page and a Twitter account.

Officer Casey Day said that the pages can be used right now to let people know about what is going on in the city.

Day said that he attended a police social media training in the South Bay which highlighted the advantages of using Facebook and Twitter as a police force.

Anderson Police also has an online reporting system, which people can use to leave information.
