A bank customer's alertness helped Chico Police nab a bank robbery suspect today. When the suspect drove away from the Tri-Counties Bank at West 5th St. and Salem St., the customer followed behind and told police where the suspect was headed.
The suspect entered the bank just after 11:30 on Fri. morning.
Police said he acted like he had a gun but did not say that he had a gun and no gun was seen.
He left with cash in a duffel bag.
Officers caught up to him and arrested him on the 1500 block of Nord Ave.
