Big Rig Overturns on Interstate 5 North

A big rig overturned on Interstate 5 in the center divider and caught fire around 2 p.m. on Wednesday.

There were no injuries, but traffic was backed up on I-5 North with one lane closed for four to five hours.

The accident damaged about 120 feet of the guard rail, which punctured the gas tank and caused the fire.

The truck had been going 40 to 45 miles per hour at the time of the accident.
