CHP Searches for Hit-and-Run Suspect

MILLVILLE, Calif. -

The California Highway Patrol is looking for a man in his 30s who crashed his car into a tree and fence Sunday morning in Millville.

Authorities say the man crashed his Honda Civic around 9 a.m. on Oak Run Road.

The suspect then fled on foot through private properties around the area. 

The CHP dispatched their helicopter and a handful of patrol officers to search through nearby brush.  Police are describing the suspect as a white male with a beard wearing dark clothing.

The CHP is asking anyone with additional information to call them.
