A Red Bluff business is getting patched up after being hit by a truck Friday evening.

Red Bluff Police said a 64 year-old man was driving a black pickup truck when he crashed into the Tobacco And More shop in Red Bluff around 4:30 p.m. on Friday.

He was taken to the hospital but on Saturday police said he didn't suffer any severe injuries.

Police said they aren't sure what caused the man to lose control of the vehicle but believe he suffered from some sort of medical condition.

On Saturday the business was still open but repairmen were scrambling to fix the holes in the building to protect it from the upcoming storm.

The store's owners said although they estimate losses to be more than $20,000 they are thankful no one was hurt in the accident.
