Couple In Oak Run Trapped By Snow, Debris
A couple in Oak Run has been trapped for three weeks due to the snow storm. And they say PG&E has made it worse.
Christine and Ron Case can't drive out of their house. Their roadway was blocked by recent snow fall and they say things got worse when PG&E left lines and debris laying around, making it impossible for them to leave.
Ron Case worked for PG&E for 40 years and he says he’s never seen anything like this. He says there are procedures that need to be followed.
“If they would have come out and just cleared the two wires that landed on Knoll Ridge Road, our private driveway, I could have gotten out,” says Case.
What’s worse is that the Cases have heart problems and can’t get out to get medication.
“We haven’t had our heart medication now for three weeks. My wife has chest problems – I have them,” says Case. “If there’s an emergency in here nobody can get to us.”
We contacted PG&E, and they told us: “We apologize for any inconvenience we’ve caused.” A spokesperson says they will be cleaning the debris Friday.
