Deputies Investigate Fatal Shooting In Trinity County

HYAMPOM, Calif. -

A shooting in Trinity County left one person dead Monday night.

The Trinity County Undersheriff said the call came in around 7:30 p.m. from the community of Hyampom. Overnight, deputies were still at the scene investigating the crime as a homicide.

The name of the victim was not released.
