Police said a high speed accident in Chico may have been caused by a man suffering a seizure.
It happened at 9:30 Thursday morning on Cohasset Road not far from the airport.
Police said James Prosser, 31 of Chico, was driving his Toyota Supra southbound on Cohasset when he suffered a seizure and rear-ended a Honda Accord in front of him that was traveling 55 miles per hour.
Prosser's car veered into a ditch. The driver of the other car declined to speak on camera but told KRCR News Channel 7 that Prosser was driving an estimated 90 miles per hour at the time his car was hit from behind.
Police say that Prosser was driving on a suspended license due to a handicap.
