Explosives Discovered at Butte County Consignment Store

PARADISE, Calif. -

The Butte County Bomb Squad was called to Paradise Thursday night after explosives were found among items at a consignment store.

It started around  6:15 p.m. Thursday.  Police were called to the store at 8672 Skyway.  Among the items from an estate sale, they found copper blasting caps with timed fuses.

The bomb squad took possession of the explosives and disposed of them safely.
