BIGGS, Calif. -

The community is rallying to help the Williams family who lost everything in a house fire Thursday.

The Steve & Molly Williams, and their eight children, operate Max's Miracle Ranch, a retreat for families whose children have medical issues.  The Williams' son Max was born with a heart defect and has undergone a series of surgeries.  The family has helped other families experiencing the same issues.

The family also hosts holiday gatherings, including an Easter Egg Hunt, Pumpkin Patch and Winter Wonderland Light Display.  Their ranch features a kids train around the property and animals.

The fire Thursday afternoon destroyed their home in Biggs.

Now friends are collecting clothing and money to help the Williams in their time of need.

A facebook page is providing information about various fundraisers and clothing drives.
