Highway 99 Back Open After Car Crashes Into Power Pole

PG&E crews worked through the night to restore power in Tehama County, after an accident that downed a power pole, and closed Highway 99
The accident happened around 6:16 p.m. Thursday on Eldrid Avenue near Highway 99 in Dairyville. The collision trapped the driver and knocked out power to nearby customers.
By 4 a.m. Friday, power had been restored to all but 38 customers.
Crews had to replace a pole and re-string wires over Highway 99.
The road was back open around 7:30 Thursday night.
