K-9 Assists in Corning Drug Arrest

CORNING, Calif. -

Tehama CountyA corning K-9 Sergeant and his K-9 partner Oso made a drug arrest while on a routine patrol. K-9 Sergeant Jermiah Fears was on Sixth Street and Solano Street in Corning when he noticed a man throw an item over fenced gate.

The sergeant detained the man who was identified as Jack Colon. K-9 Oso was called to the scene. Oso alerted his partner of a small metal container located on Colon's key ring.

Inside the container was 1.7 gross grams of Methamphetamine. Colon was arrested and taken to the Tehama County Jail. His bond is set at $40,000.
