Man Accused of Attacking & Biting His Girlfriend & Her Father

CHICO, Calif. -

A Chico man is facing domestic violence and drug charges after police say he bit two people and threatened them with a knife.    

It happened just after 9 p.m. Thursday at an apartment at 353 Rio Lindo Avenue.

Police said Douglas Lejk was assaulting his live-in girlfriend Mariya Beeton and her father Vernon.

Lejk allegedly bit them and threatened them with a knife.   The victims took  the knife away from Lejk and restrained him until officers arrived.    Beeton and her father both had several bite marks.

Lejk was arrested on several charges including domestic violence, and possession of methamphetamine.  Police said he had several bags of methamphetamine.
