The California Highway Patrol said a man died early Sunday morning after crashing his vehicle in the Igo area.
Officers said the man died after his Chevrolet rolled down an embankment, hit a fence and flipped over.
The man's name and age have not been released.
According to the CHP the man was traveling at a high rate of speed on Platina Road east of Deck way when he drifted off an embankment.
Officers said the man was not wearing a seat belt.
The cause of the accident is still under investigation, however officers believe alcohol might have been a contributing factor.
