REDDING, Calif. -

A wanted man trapped himself in a drain pipe while running from police. He later freed himself only to be taken to the Shasta County Jail.

25-year-old Jeremy Obosky allegedly ran away from police after a car was reported stolen in downtown Redding Friday morning.

Redding Police said Obosky took refuge from them in a drain pipe near the railroad tracks just north of Gironda's Restaurant.

The only problem is, he got stuck about 30 feet in.

He was able to wiggle himself free, but was arrested and taken to the Shasta County Jail.

This isn't the first time Obosky has been accused of stealing something. He was already wanted for six felonies and one misdemeanor.
