Man Stabbed in Rite-Aid Parking Lot; Deputies Looking for Suspect

Deputies are looking for a suspect who stabbed a man in the Rite-Aid parking lot in the City of Shasta Lake.

It happened Tuesday night at Rite-Aid on Shasta Dam Boulevard just before 11:00pm. 25-year old Andrew Whitley got into a fight with the suspect and was stabbed in the neck.

Whitley ran across the street to a Chevron gas station for help. The suspect ran away. Whitley was taken to Mercy Medical Center and is in critical condition.
