Motorcycle Crash Blocks Quartz Hill Road

REDDING, Calif. -

A motorcycle crash closed Quartz Hill Road Tuesday morning on Redding's west side.

The accident happened around 8:50 a.m..  A motorcyclist hit a deer.  The driver suffered minor injuries.

Quartz Hill Road was closed between Snow Lane and Mt. Bonnington Drive as police investigated and crews cleared the road.

The road was reopened to traffic in less than an hour.
