Dozens gathered in Redding Monday night to pay respects to the victims of the Sandy Hook Elementary massacre in Newtown, Connecticut.

First United Methodist Church was nearly packed as leaders from several North State religious groups paid homage to those killed last Friday. KRCR News Channel 7's Mike Mangas was among them.

Folks lit candles and signed cards in the church's lobby, which will later be sent to Sandy Hook Elementary School.
