Mt. Shasta, Calif. -

The Mount Shasta Ski Park is gearing up for the season and were hoping to open a new tubing run this weekend.

But warm temperatures and lack of snow is causing them to push it back a few weeks.

Ski park officials say they hope to be able to start making snow, but they need consistant temperatures around 25 degrees and it just hasn’t been cold enough.

This most recent storm sealed their fate.  They got too much rain and not enough snow for them to open this weekend as they originally planned.
