Nicolaas Myrtle Child Endangerment Sentencing Pushed Back

REDDING, Calif. -

Sentencing was pushed back on Fri. for a Shasta County man charged with causing a car crash that seriously injured his two daughters.

Nicolaas Myrtle's attorney asked the judge to hold off on sentencing until his other charges are addressed and the judge agreed.

Myrtle was convicted of child endangerment last month but the jury was hung on the other two charges of driving under the influence and a second child endangerment count.

A re-trial on those charges is scheduled for the next month.
