People In The Northstate Sending Cards To Victims’ Families In Connecticut
Dozens of people in Redding came together to make cards for the families of the victims killed at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Connecticut.
People met at Columbia Elementary School in Redding on Sunday afternoon for the event. It was organized by Keeya Singer, a college student who is from Redding. She said she wanted to reach out and send love to the families who endured the tragedy.
“I thought if I could just put something together to help, we all feel so helpless right now and just doing any little thing would help,” said Singer.
Singer says she will be sending the cards to a church in Connecticut to have them delivered to the victims’ families.
