The Redding City Council has selected the city's mayor for the next two years.  Tuesday night the council voted Rick Bosetti as mayor.  Patrick Jones was selected as vice mayor.
 
Gary Cadd and Missy McArthur were sworn at the meeting.   Cadd won his seat by just nine votes after a recount, defeating incumbent Dick Dickerson.
    
The city of Chico has a new mayor and vice mayor.    Mary Goloff was chosen as the new mayor at Tuesday's city council meeting.  Scott Gruendl was picked to be the vice mayor.
Four council members took the oath of office, including incumbent Ann Schwab, and newcomers Sean Morgan, Tami Ritter and Randall Stone.
